I like the website for local and international news. I think its views are non biased.. and at least it apologises when it gets things wrong.

On the funeral thing. Im not sure if I would like it. I remember at my Grandads funeral a few years back, someone tried to crack a joke when I was driving back from the cemetry.. If the guy had not been an old pensioner I would have thrown him out of the car and run him over.

I agreed. At the same time, a few years ago I was in New Orleans and was stopped in the street by some ceremony. I saw a group of dancing and singing black people. My first thought was it was some parade but I was shocked when I saw thumb on their shoulders. It was not parade, it was funeral. I've read about this before but seen first time in real life. There is a reason why those people do that. They believe that person who past away, went to the better world. Therefore, relatives and friends must be happy for that person. If the story about better world is true, they are right.

Ive seen those wake ceremony type things before.. but only on a docummenatry. ( No I do not subscrive to the Funeral channel )

Thats all well and good if everyoen wants to participate. However some farting clown turning up... is a different matter.

I think its a dutch thing ( no offense Darq ) When I was in the airport there was all kinds of weired people performing. Playing "Pink Pather" tune on a trombone whilst walking about in odd clothes. Also there was a guy with 3 hands ( one fake obviously ) trying to scare people.

Maybe it was funny to some people.. It was not a good day for me, so I failed to see the humour.
