First off i would like to say hello and thank you to everyone who shares any knowledge.

I consider myself a novice programmer, and self taught myself Java and C. I am currently on my second year of my computer science degree (where i am basically learning more java).

I really enjoy reading/learning anything thing to do with programming. I do have a few concerns though. The major concern is "i don't know where to start". What i mean by this is i know i am still in the learning process but i want to start creating/developing "stuff". I just don"t know where to start. If any one could give me some pointers like point me to some article, or just give suggestions on topics to research that would be greatly appreciated.

My programming background is mainly java with a little C knowledge.
