The new 5th Generation iPods have Video capability. You can create video playlists, sync and watch movies in both letterbox (16:9) and regular format. You can even watch those movies on a television set directly from your iPod with an extra cable, available from Apple. The question remains, how do you get a video into an iPod to begin with? For many videos this is an easy task, assuming you have iTunes, but if your video is not supported the process becomes far harder.

Steps:

1.Understand the formats
Learn both the video and and audio formats compatible with iPod and iTunes. These programs are compatible with only two codecs:
H.264
Filename extensions: .m4v, .mp4, and .mov
Video: Up to 768 kbits/sec, 320 x 240, 30 frames per second (fps), Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3.
Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 kbits/sec, 48 Khz, and stereo audio.
MPEG-4
Filename extensions: .m4v, .mp4, and .mov
Video: Up to 2.5 Mbits/sec, 480 x 480, 30 fps, Simple Profile.
Audio: AAC-LC up to 160 kbits/sec, 48 Khz, stereo audio.
Note that these are the maximums, you can always create a lower quality video for your iPod.
You need a .mov file.

to develop ussd based application you need to be a content provider and registered with a ussd gateway (of any mobile network operator). pressing *XXX# will send an request to ussd gateway and then gateway request content provider (specified within that selection by id) to send some service to subscriber mobile.
I guess in your project will face complexity in arranging ussd content provider facility than to build an ussd based service/application. Anyway best of luck.

i collected a mountain of HD videos after vacation and now i want to enjoy them with my friends so i have to convert the HD videos to MP4 workable to iPod...

Personally I use Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter to handle my mts and m2ts files, before using it, I've tried many ,many different sorts of converters, virtually all of them can transfer mts/m2ts to other common formats, but always bring problems one or another, like terrible conversion speed, audio and video out of sync, etc. This one does not have these issues, so it won my appreciation.
