There are lots of good ones, but your choice depends on what OS you are running and which ones you plan on supporting.

http://www.vpascal.com and http://www.freepascal.org are both good, free choices then. There is also a free version of Turbo Pascal 5.5 available on Borland's website, but Id recommend going with one of the other two since they support Win32 targets.

VP will remind you of VB...I also recommend having FreePascal. There are a couple of the commands there than are very quick and make programming easy...FP still retains the look and feel of TP, but has some added goodies. I'm glad you chose to join the Pascal community. Good luck. Since both are free, I would recommend getting both. If you will be using Pascal in your job too, I would suggest staying with FP rather than VP. If you will be using Pascal for strictly personal use, get both.

Respectfully,
Delljohnb
