can someone help me how to do a ping program?. The program must come with an error if ping unsuccessful and time the ip is down. thxs.

Are you running this DOS based (Turbo Pascal, etc) or through a windows Pascal?
First thing would be to find a TCP/IP unit for the system you are working with.

i'm using Borland Pascal 7.0...and and want to ping windows network. Can anyone provide me a simple codes to start with?. thxs
