may anyone please tell me how to use pascal to zip some files?
(if it is too time-consuming to explain or complicated or even impossible just leave it alone, sorry for hindering all you guys ><)

There are multiple ways of doing it:
1. Look for a Zip library on the web to incorporate it in your program
2. Call the Zip executable from your program to to the job for you, see: "swapvectors" and "exec" procedures.
3. Write your own Zip compression routine, now this would be the hardest...
