For my 2 cents worth...

Its like this, the launguage that you feel comfortable with is probably the best one to use. And if you can afford a decent compiler then there is no reason why Pascal cannot be just as powerful as C++

...and yes, I program c++ aswell, but I prefer pascal because it is nicer to use. What do I mean by nicer ?
* Well The syntax for one thing is a lot more readable. Meaning easier code generation and debugging.
* Much easier to 'throw' together quick and nasty test programs.
* You can use ASM if you feel the need for speed.
* and many other personal (it feels right) reasons...

Come on all you c++ programs, give me a reason for using C that doesn't include the statement, 'because its quicker' !!! Computers these days aren't tied down as much by CPU speed restraints so why use the same old speed argument.

Any takers ???

The bait is cast...

: : : C is better than pascal...
: : :
: :
: : C - not necessarily.
: : i know some people who know much of both and prefer to program in pascal..
: : now, C++ does rule over pascal along with OOP and the whole Visual environment..
: :
: : if any1 disagrees feel free to say it!
: : didn't think so..lol
: : //Noam
: :
: I think that pascal is nicer and easyer than C but I see how many games and application is maked in language C. It is main problem...
