Render graphics to win xp desktop like winamp's avs Posted by Malekovits on 3 Feb 2012 at 5:17 PM
Hi all!

Winamp's avs visualizations have a choise to render the visualizations to the desktop (in windows xp and prior, dont know if this happens for later), so instead of the image you have as background, you can have the hole visualization behind the desktop's shortcuts and folders, and without cost to cpu.

I work in an borland pascal (yes the very very old, '92) and use graph unit to make graphics, and then dosbox to run them since graph unit is only for real/protected apps.

I know that this is obsolete. But is there any way to do this? Maybe if I dont use the graph unit, and instead use something else (if exists),in windows mode(not real/protected)?

Any idea? If you are confused in this, tell me to try to describe it better to you!
