1. Write a Program that reads 2 dimensional matrices (say A & B) of
M x N.Your program will compute the ressult matrix C[M,N] to the console (use procedures explicitly).

2. Write a simple Pascal program that can calculate area of any circle.

I am trying to write a program that accpets any number and then counts years, months and days. The problem is of course with implementing leap years (February 28/29) and months (30/31). What I have managed to conjured up so far is quite simple and does not take into consideration the above-mentioned issues.
I was thinking of declaring months as month:array[1..12] of integer then assigning each month correct numbers of days. However, I don't know either whether I am going the right way or how to implement it.
I am just about to finish my BTEC course and programming is one of the units we have coverd. Quite enjoyed it and I would like to think that I could sort of try and learn more solving different problems (sometimes with your help)

You are more than welcome to throw some tasks at me that you think when solved will teach me some precious things about pascal!
I would really appreciate any tutorials!

Is there a good way preferredly without reading through
the existing file to append text to a unix text file?

so what i want it to do is read the guess, put it into an array for later use and if the guess is guessed again, it will immediately spot that and say that you have already guessed that number(checkifexists). I know what i want it to do but cant think of the code that will.

Hey, I seem to have a few problems
1. I want to use Records ex.

User=Record
           Username: string;
           Password: string;

Now if I want to compare one of those with a string it doesnt work ex.

User.Username = TEMP

it will give me an error ''Operator is not overloaded''
Why can't it compare the two variables?

2. How can I write an array into a string or read out an array to compare the single cells with a variable? Like the cell 1 of the array is equal to a sring? Here an example that I made that doesnt work

Example[1] = TEMP

if I try that it will not work because it says cant read or write from this type of Variable

Can somebody help me there? Thx a lot in Advance

how do I make pascal read prices of particular menu items from a file - just an idea which makes it easy to update prices without enetering the pas file. So far I have managed to make it read menu items only (I suppose that is easy as it's only string)
