Forum bug? Posted by MT2002 on 13 Aug 2007 at 11:30 PM
Hello,

I think I found a bug in the forum system. It is not a big bug though.

In the main forum index page, when [I] click on the last posted thread,
and the last post is on page 2+ of the thread is when this happens.

It opens up the page correctly. However, on the bottom where it displays
"Jump to page"--any page I select brings me back to the same page again,
and not to the page it is supposed to.

I wonder if this happens to anyone else?

Thanks

Hi there,

Both of these have just made it into the PH bug tracker - thanks! The first sounds like a bug for sure. The second one, I think that we calculate this number on a (daily?) background task, so it may not always be up to date and thus may appear not to be incrementing. OTOH, it could be just plain broken.

Thanks again,

Jonathan

I think we can safely say that's a bug then.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hi,

To follow up, Tore fixed the counters bug and that change is live on the site now. I have also just ci'd a fix for the paging bug, which will make it into the live site in the next build (so pretty soon, I expect).

Thanks for reporting!

Jonathan
