Actually, I don't think that is a very good idea. There is not nearly enough traffic on any of these boards to support regular chat. I've seen chat added to numerous boards that I frequent - it is never used. You're much better of spending that development time improving this forum... it's in desparate need. There are plenty of comments here.<br>

Webmaster - I suggest this: get active in one of the forums on your site, post regularly and read it regularly. Unless you actually use the damn thing, you're never going to be fully aware of how big a pain in the ass it's problems are.<br>
