Auto logout Posted by Tomas on 6 Jul 2001 at 4:40 AM
Hi!
Maybee I'm a slow writer, but I rarely finish writing my replies before I get logged out. Does anyone agree or disagree?

/Tomas

Ps.
I think I wrote this fast enough though... ;)

Thats a new problem that I haven't heard of before.

I have increased the session timeout value from 20
minutes to 30 minutes and please let me know if the
problem still exists.

What browser are you using?

Hi!
I mainly use IE 5.5.
Maybee I'm going insane, I've heard that you loose track of time then, but 30 minutes should be enough even for me...;)

I don't know if it will help any, but:

I also use IE5.5. I appear to get a "page has expired" condition after about 5 minutes in which case IE will always pull a new page from the server instead of reloading the old one. Annoying, but I doubt it's related. I seem to get a session timeout after about 15 minutes or so, but you said it was 20 before so that's close enough.

I will try to investigate this further on my end.

Thanks for telling me about it.

I've never got this error, but maybe you (Webmaster) should some different value in the <meta content="expires" ...> tag?
