This is the first time in all my years here that I've not gotten the monthly newsletter. Some kind of problem with Smarty, see the error below...

i might be harsh...but no way...
i posted a query(Algo section) one week back and i dint even get a single response...

i doubt about the existence of moderators in the forum....
Its totally inactive...
I regret of having posted and wasting time by looking for the response everyday...

it's okay, if you reject file releases, but it would be very kind of you to tell the reasons for later releases - 'cause I don't know the reason the "violation" of (unknown) rules is unavoidable...

Hi,

I uploaded some screenshots of the releases, unfortunately it didn't seem to be successful .. any suggestions ?

It would be nice if the File Upload formular would give some feedback and would be enhanced with more detailed file information such as Platform etc.

Write a matlab program that reads in a gray scale image (girl256.bmp)* and performs the following:

The bit depth of the image is transformed to be 2-bits

The program should display the original image with its histogram and the transfromed image with its histogram. Print outs of these images should be submitted along with an explanation of the changes apparent in the quality of the images and the histograms.

The image transformation should be accomplished with a matlab function that utilizes a look-up table

The histogram is also generated using a matlab function that you write.

Can't create blog

I tried to create a blog 4 times. I submitted a title, and a description, and it flips back to the create a blog page without creating one. I even made sure both were short so that it wouldn't fail.

there are no error messages or anything to indicate it failed.

I went to my profile and clicked to see my blog and it says I do not have one created.

When I go to my block, it says I don't have one and i have to create.

So i click, i put the title, and the description then click submit,

but it respawns me to the same page with the "Description" and "Title" spaces blanks!
and if i go to my blog it says again I dont have one!

I liked the old layout better. circuit city ad is always getting in the way. I prefer looking at the center of the screen and glancing toward edges. Meaning important stuff goes in the middle and extra stuff along the sides. The toolbar is nice, could use a slight delay like windows start menu. The Programmers heaven logo looks like it came from a 60's era.
Sorry if I'm giving such a bad rating, but the overall layout is giving me a headache.

Hello, how about extending PH's functionality with features like distributed software development tools?
I mean something like a (distributted??) project manager and compiler farm - much like that one on SourceForge.
This way PH could turn into a place to *stay and work* rather than a place ti *visit* - whatever regularly one visits PH.

I am Mohsin Shaikh browsing your site since 1 years before re-design.

It was excellent site and i was found all C# topics according to lesson wise. i.e lesson 1,lesson 2 etc and it is perfect for C# and i am getting good reference from your site.

But now i found after re-design it is very bad and i am unable to search

I like the new logo, but I don't like the blue square borders. It is not clean enough or beautiful enough. The blue borders could be thinner and all corners round.

Small complain...
Following the lessons of VB.NET School of Faraz Rasheed I used to print these lessons "Printer friendly" (to be set by button at end of page).
Sad to say that after the Site renewal this button is no longer there!!!
(Or can it be done on an other way???)
