I've tried posting the same two messages multiple times and received
"Internal error. Something very bad just happened. Please contact us and inform us about this error" twice and
"You must enter the correct captcha code" at least 6 times after waiting at about a minute for each attempt.

I guess I'm done here...

I see forums for a wide variety of programming languages and other computer topics on this site, but I'm surprised at the glaring absence of a shell forum.

That is, there's no forum specifically for bash scripts, sed, awk and the like.

Every post I make into a forum results in a "forum error" page but the post still showing up when I navigate to the forum threads. It has been like this with every post I've made for the past week or so. It must be making the site look bad to everyone who posts on it. Is this being resolved any time soon?

Weird behavior on load

Um... Every time I load a page (on this site) it will keep skipping down (as if I pressed spacebar or something) several pages, until it's at the bottom by the time it's finished loading... so I have to scroll back up to the top every time. Kind of annoying.

Is this possibly because of that tools thing on bottom... or what?

(running on Chrome... but pretty sure that's not it.)

Anybody else experiencing this?

Not abandoned but change of admins and moderation that didn't work out, but we now have some new resources in place that are slowly getting up to speed.

It's been a bumpy ride, but we are starting to get things worked out.

We are playing catch-up with the spammers at this point, but we should be rolling out some new things that should make this even harder for the spammers.

Problem is that a lot of the spammers are not bots, but people posting manually, which is pretty hard to manage with automated tools.
