Connecting to various SCM using java Posted by vivekg on 14 Jul 2008 at 2:34 AM
Hi All,

I want to connect to various source control management systems like CVS,SVN and do some operatons say check in , create tags, get history etc.
Is there any generic API which will help me in doing so . Or i have to write separate code for connecting to CVS,SVN etc.

Please provide your valuable suggesions or links..

Rergards,
Vivek

Hi Vivek,

I don't know whether you have heard of PureCM. It is a very reasonably priced SCM tool with good branching and merging support that also features a Java API.

I hope you find some time to have a look at it: www.purecm.com

Best regards,
Kenji
