Python IDEL Posted by Garrett85 on 26 Sept 2009 at 4:37 PM
Hey, I've just started with python and I'M using python's IDE, IDEL, & Wing IDE. When I read my book on python programming it shows the programs running in a traditional DOS type of window. But neither of my IDEs run my programs in this traditional form and I would prefer that. Can someone tell me what's up and how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi,

Better to use Vim, vim gives you a great features for all programming language, for windows you can use gvim, for linux its default available. But before work on vim you should know some thing about vim, use this link http://www.swaroopch.com/notes/Vim

When you install Python the DOS style window your looking for should be directly in there as python.exe.
