Moderator Application

Help make our forums a better place

    There are several forums here at Programmers Heaven that needs to be moderated. Maybe you feel that you are the right person for moderating one of our forums. If that is the case, read the guidelines and, if you agree with them, apply to be a moderator using the form below.

    As a board moderator you would be expected to:
    • Have been active on the Programmer's Heaven forums for at least a month before applying and have posted at least 50 messages.
    • Check the forum at least 2-3 times a week
    • Work for an active and pleasant forum
    • Help new users on the forum to join the community
    • Delete or move inappropriate messages
    • Post an introduction message when you start moderating a forum to introduce yourself to other members
    • Update your author page with a personal descripion and location
    • Inform the WEBMASTER if you find any problems or bugs in the forum
    • Inform the WEBMASTER as soon as possible if you do not want to moderate a forum any more

    Moderators do not have not the power to delete users; this option is availible only to the WEBMASTER. If you feel that a user should be deleted or banned, please send an email to the WEBMASTER and explain why.

    All actions performed by moderators will be logged to prevent abuse of power. Moderators will loose their status if they are found to abuse their power.
