Hisses and groans fills my senses as my flaring limbs constrict against tight leathery skins. My cries and pleas resound from the dark abyss that I am being drag into, and I find myself struggling for freedom. Suddenly, my heart stutters in my bloody chest as realization dawns on me. This is a place where souls can no longer find redemption and forgiveness can never be obtained. Here, no light can erase the sins from my previous life, and I know at that moment that this is Hell.

Finally, realization dawns on me, and I stop fighting. I know at that moment on I deserve everything that I am experiencing right now, and that it is foolish to stop my ill fate. If only I have treated others with reverence and kindness, then maybe I would not be here facing my worst nightmares. And because of my past faults, I come to accept my fate. Giving my last prayer to God, I allow myself to be fully eaten by my sins and the Devil.

Functional oriented metrics for software ranging

Hello everybody!

I have a problem. I need to evaluate the size of software product. I know, that there are LOC-oriented metrics (Lines Of Code) and functional oriented (FP - Functional Points) metrics for this aim. There is a lot of theoreical materials for this topic, but it seems very difficult to use this theory in practice. It's interesting to know, did some one use this method? I will be grateful if you help me with your experience..

Finding a programer to write short programs

I am not a programer. What I want is a program that can be attached to my mail system that when activated will send a note back to the sender stating that I do not want them spamming me anymore. At that point I want the program to maintain a list of spams and compare them each time I recieve another spam from the same sender and send back the same number of replies of the spams I recieved. All I want is a simple program that I can run on two computers. Have one computer send a string to a certain port through tcp/ip, and have the other computer listen on that port and display the message. There has to be a simple tool out there.

I need it because I want to be able to test the programs I write to see if they can send and receive commands properly. Anyone know of any?

Applications using Windows Concurrency APIs

When I try to run Coverage, Purify or Quantify from command line, the server startup fails and the following errors are shown in the screen:

JVMCI158: Can't load "PureJVPMI.dll", because Can't find dependent libraries.
JVMCI098: xmloadJVMHelperLib PureJVPMI coverage, failed

I applied the instructions of these link but the same error is shown:
