Sometimes the sidebar advertisments overlap the message boxes. Especially true if using a smaller screen size. Any way to size the ads appropriately?

I can't post comments on blogs, no matter which web browser I try. The browser just eats the comment without any explanation why it didn't work.

Yet another unresolved bug to put on the stack of bugs that never will be resolved.

It is ironic how buggy this site is, considering it is supposed to be about programming...

Since the remake of PH, it has been possible for all users to reply to locked threads.

"Delete all" option in the mailbox?

Would it be possible to make a "delete all" or "mark all" feature in the mailbox?

Since I deleted hundreds of posts as a moderator during the recent spam flood, my outbox is jammed with copies of messages sent to spam bot accounts, informing them that their post was deleted.

I realize that I could have removed the "notify user" option upon deleting the post, but that I would have to click that flag 100 times instead of clicking the delete flag 100 times in my outbox.

Of course, if there was a "mass delete" feature for moderators, that would also solve the issue.

Edit: As a parenthesis, Opera used to be able to show the outbox properly despite the vast amount of messages, but now it has now given up, showing a big white page. IE shows it properly still, however.

On a shopping spree for games – need suggestions.

Hi everyone, I have been shopping for a while online and have been through many of the sites that have dozens of products but the range is somewhat to a limited extent. I did not found myself pondering around and was left with a few choices. I have my interest’s mainly in games (I just love them) and would like to check out some of the new stuff available on web. I would like to know the places that you people do your online shopping from.
Hi,

Is it possible to set the default font size for the code tags to SIZE=3? Usually it is set to SIZE=1 and posted code is harder to read.
I had locked this thread, yet a spam bot managed to post to it. Seems the locking feature isn't behaving.

Again, sorry for posting here, but nobody reads the moderator forum.

So finally we have a moderator feature where you can notify the user why their post was removed, yay!

But... is this really working? I have tried to create some threads and deleted them. I did however not receive any notify about it.

Is it possible to have the forum listed in the "latest posts on the favorite boards" (similar to latest posts on all forums)?
Otherwise the new design looks great, especially the forum view options.

Help us test the PH Re-design!

Hello to all PH users,

We have been working hard over the past months to bring Programmer's Heaven a new look and some new features. Along the way, we have also worked to improve the navigation greatly: between forums, or to resource pages, will now be just a single click from anywhere on the site, for example!

We plan to launch the re-design in about a week, if all goes smoothly, but before we do that we wanted to let you - the Programmer's Heaven community - have a look over it and give us any comments about what you like and dislike. Bug reports are also very welcome; one can never do enough testing! You can check out a demo of the re-design at:

http://testing.communityheaven.com:90/

Please note that the testing site is working on a copy of the live site's database, not the real data. This not only means that it will quickly lag behind the content here, but also that any forum posts, resource submissions, comments or blog entries you make on the testing site will not be reflected on the live site now or after we launch the re-design. Please just post testing data there.

Please use this forum to report bugs, provide feedback and have discussions on the re-design. The Programmer's Heaven team will be listening to what is said here and participate in the discussions. We are open to making changes, and of course doing bug fixes, as they are suggested here. Without you folks, we have no community, so we want to make a site that is useful and enjoyable for you.

Thanks for your time, and for being part of Programmer's Heaven!

Nicolai, Lars, Jonathan, Jakob and Brad
The Programmer's Heaven Team
