My first algorithm that I have to make is an algorithm that will add two positive integers. You may not use the word ‘add’ or any word or symbol that is a synonym for ‘add’ in this algorithm. The second algorithm that I have to make is an algorithm that will select the largest from a group of three numbers. The steps are, 1)Statements are written in simple English. 2) Each instruction is written on a separate line. 3) Keywords and indentation are used to signify particular control structures. 4) Each set of instructions is written from top to bottom, with only one entry and one exit. 5) Groups of statements may be formed into modules, and that module given a name. I have attached a document I have to go by.

Hello,

I have created a class that want to deploy as a Web Service.

With this WSDD file, it works fine:

But my class also can throw an exception: lo.webServices.MyFault and I do not know how to add this information to the file server-config.wsdd

If I don´t add the exception info in the WSDD, when the server throws the exception 'MyFault', in the client I receive 'AxisException', not the original exception.

Can anyone help me?

I am a beginner in Java programming. I just downloaded JDK 1.7.0 to my Windows 7 laptop and wrote my first "Hello World!" program. I went to the command prompt and typed in javac HelloWorld.java and get the following response: "javac is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file". I have tried editing the Path file but I'm still getting issues. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

So I am working on a final project for my programming class and want to create a program that searches for file extensions like .jpg and copies them and pastes them into a different hard drive for saving important documents prior to a hard drive format. Not sure if it is even possible in C++ as I can find nothing on how this would be done. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been searching for this for a few days now, but nothing seems to quite answer or work for me, so please forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question or one that seems to have been answered elsewhere.

I have an AVI file encoded using the GMP4 video codec, currently installed on my computer so I can PLAY the file in Windows Media Player for instance. What I'm trying to do is open/decode the file for editing purposes, in order to be able to stitch two video files together. I do not require it to be output in the same format, but rather only opened for editing, get the frames and then I can output to a more standard format.

The problem I'm getting is that there is no DirectShow filter created for this format, so it won't open using that for me (haven't worked too deeply into it, but all samples fail to load the video file). FFMPEG tries to read the file, states that the header is incorrect but it'll attempt to read it anyway, then dies stating that I need the GMP4 codec. As I'd stated earlier, I have the particular codec installed but FFMPEG doesn't seem to notice or have access to it.

Is there anything that will allow me to use the system-installed codecs to decode the video frames? It seems strange to me that Windows Media Player can do something, but I can't programatically repeat it. I'm not restricted to C++ or C#, though C# would definitely be a preferred language.

I have a assignment for school I am working on in my c++ programming class. We were asked to create a small program and my idea was for a program that searches a drive and finds certain file extensions like .jpg and copies them and pastes them into a different drive so a person could save all there pictures, documents, etc prior to formatting a hard drive. Hello,
This is my first post on this forum. I am a C++ developer dedicated to flight simulation. I know how DirectInput works and I can read device state, which was useful to read the joystick axes and buttons.
Today I need something else: I need to SET the joystick state to let the flight simulator "believe" the joystick is moving, and I couldn't find a way to do this. I found some information about hooking DirectX, but I don't really like this kind of solution. Is there a "clean" way of doing this?

If you want to know why I want to do this, I can explain:
I plan to develop a specific module for Airbus aircraft simulation. In these aircrafts, the 2 pilots have sidesticks, very similar to PC joysticks. If they BOTH move their stick, the sum of the 2 inputs is provided to the flight controls computers. I would like to simulate this by reading 2 real joystick inputs, sum the 2 inputs, and SET this as the input of a 'virtual' joystick that my flight simulator will read to control the aircraft. Do you think this is possible?

I'm happy to announce that Gamalto, a new middleware to create video games using JavaScript and HTML5, has been released to the public. The middleware is still under development but already features many interesting things.

The purpose is to provide a lightweight, and modular middleware which doesn't constrain the developer to a specific game style, like SDL.
