MSDE tray icon missing Posted by demented on 15 May 2004 at 6:22 AM
I need some help on MSDE. Somehow I disabled the system tray icon (I forgot how I did it), I want it back but I don't know how. Can some1 pls tell me?
Another problem is I forgot the username and password I used when I setup MSDE. Anyway to get them?

did u manage to solve your prob??

to enable the icon try this :

go to
C:\Programram Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Binn

click SVRNETCN.exe

Bring Named Pipes and TCP/IP to Enabled protocols side

restart PC
