I need to be able to do this for my A level computing. So far I can run applications and poke items in, but I can't get the LinkExecute command string to do anything other than select some Excel cells. I really need to be able to open a specific Word (2000) document (rather than a blank document), and do things like add and rename sheets, and save workbooks in Excel. I can get everything to work using VBA and Macros, but I need to be able to run them from a separate VB project - and I can't!

Please, somebody...this is driving me insane...
