i need an excel formula that searches one column for the highest record. if it find that there are more that one of the highest record, it goes onto the next column and finds the highest record ONLY IN THE ROWS WITH THE HIGHEST RECORD IN THE OTHER COLUMN. it then looks at another column and finds the row refered to by the first two columns.

does anyone understand what i am trying to say?
does anyone have a solution?
