I am new with VB and i have to develop two applications in VB...In one of them..that company has data already stored in Excel sheets...And i am using Vb as frontend and Access as backend...Can anybody tell me that is there any mechanism to move that data to Access database...?

Hi,
open MS Access db, go to "Tables" section, right click into middle of the screen and choose IMPORT, find your xls file and click throught wizard.
If you want to keep your data in xls file (and make connection between excel and acces), you can choose Connect (I dont know, if it is connect, in english version of Access, it's just under the Import)
