I was looking for a way to have files of certain types open by an application that I create. I happened upon the file type tab under folder options. However, I saw something that intrigued me. After some of the applications, "%1" appeared after the name of the program that after the files. I know it's an argument but is it how the program is told the name of the file? I assume that it's a macro and will expand once the program is open.
Main question: Does "%1" expand to the file name before it is sent to the program or will the program have to resolve the macro for itself?
