java.exe shuts down by itself............... Posted by javaRamp on 30 Jan 2003 at 1:30 PM
Hi all,
I hope I will find a solution to the problem we are having here. We have a server written in JAVA which is running as a windows service on a windows machine. This server is dependent on another server which manages the license stuff needed. We see two java.exe processes running when the two services are up and running.

The problem is that all of a sudden these two java processes die and all the requests to the server are failing. The logs on both the servers just stop writing(obviously). So we dont have any logs to look into either.

Anybody, any ideas. What might be the problem???

Thanks for the comments in advance.

Hard to say. You are in a Windows programming board as aposed to a Java board. Perhaps you should try the Java board.

When it came down to it I dropped everything and ran.
