How do I go about programming an Internet Explorer plugin? (using C++) Posted by Wayne Marsh on 27 Dec 2000 at 12:28 AM
I was gonna write a plug-in to get rid of "From ICQ" and "Links" in the IE favourites. But how do I write an IE plug-in?

If you only want this for your own personal use, I think TweakUI will remove the Links in the IE favorites. For the From ICQ, im not sure because I don't have ICQ installed anymore, but maybe there is a setting somewhere.

Hope This Helps,
Justin

Nope, there is definately not a setting which does that.
And I was just doing this first as an excercise, just a test to see if I could write a simple plug-in before going on to something more advanced.
