Significance of Backup in RAID Array

Lack of an updated and proper backup process is quite risky for the computer users, and with some configurations of RAID, particularly RAID 0, it is riskier than ever. Most of the RAID configurations use striping that chops up the files on system in small pieces and distribute them to various drives in array. It enhances the performance of your system, but also risk the data integrity and may cause several data loss related problems. In such circumstances, Data Recovery methods help you to get your valuable data back.

When a RAID disk fails on a striped RAID array, “some part” of most of the files in system gets damaged, and there is actually no method of finding out what's gone. The fault-tolerant array, which includes the parity protection obviates such risks by allowing one disk to fail, however RAID 0 does not allow this. The possibility of failure and data loss in RAID 0 are much more than you realize. Data Recovery Service providers can do miracles in such cases; if your data is critical and you are ready to spend what they charge you for reconstructing RAID array.

If you're using mirroring in RAID array, either in combination of various technologies or RAID itself, the likelihood of losing your significant data due to hardware failure is greatly reduced, however it is far from none. Regardless, there are some other issues, which may cause data loss in RAID array that includes the following:

Unexpected RAID Disk Failure- Two mirrored RAID disks may fail at the same time, particularly if they're of same make/model.

Support Hardware Failure- Other hardware resources, which run whole array, may fail. Memory goes bad, mother develops any problem, or system power supply fails.

Physical Failure- Your RAID hardware may fail due to natural disasters, sabotage, or carelessness.

Logical Failure- Even a most reliable and stable operating system may have bug, which leads to data loss.

Malicious Programs- Viruses, malware, or spyware may delete stored files and even the hard drive volumes.

In all such cases, if you do not have an updated backup, Hard Drive Data Recovery methods come for your rescue. Due to complexity of RAID array, professional Data Recovery Services is required for safe and absolute recovery. Recovery is carried out in safe and sterile environment of Class 100 Clean Rooms using cutting-edge techniques.

Stellar Information Systems Limited is the foremost provider of industry's best mac photo recovery software services for all configurations of RAID array. Great Article
RAID Data Recovery is very complex and should not be taken lightly. RAID 0 offers no redundancy and should be avoided if possible. In two drive RAID sets, choose RAID 1 and go for mirroring. Although there is a chance of both drives failing it is highly unlikely. Never run Check Disk on RAID sets when they fail. If the data is important then I would suggest going to a professional like http://www.24hourdata.com for a Free Quote. Due to the complexity of the array especially in RAID 5 sets it is better to let professionals like 24 Hour Data do the heavy lifting.

RAID technology
RAID is the technology which provides increased storage reliability. Although it is difficult to perform windows data recovery with RAID hard drives but still it cannot be avoided.
