What to do and not to do when computer hard disk has been corrupted

Data loss can put a computer user in the most complete embarrassment. Indeed, it is estimated that the majority of data losses are caused by human error, rather than by the malfunction of a software or computer. To counter the risk of loss, even the most complete malfunction of your computer, here are some tips you can act with complete peace of mind.

Sometimes, when a disk is defective, the user prefers to buy another of equal quality in order to change the non-functional original disc. To his surprise, he finds himself with a double problem, since the new hard disk supplants the original with its own information and features. Both discs are, in general, any compatible with each other. Thus, the user usually gets disastrous results, leading to a complete malfunction of the computer or the total loss of data. In such cases, it is strongly recommended to call data recovery company rather than develop its own medicine and that, in order to avoid any pitfalls likely to lose all data.

It is not uncommon for users to delete their entire hard drive in some cases loss of data. The latter then perform data recovery following a previous backup. Would result sometimes the most disappointing result: A partial or complete loss of definitive data. If the backup is not current, or worse, if she has simply not been made, the data will almost lost forever! To counteract this unpleasant experience, better do a restoration on an alternative media, to assess the relevance and proper operation.

If by chance your hard disk is saturated with liquid, no need to use a hair dryer to solve the problem. In so doing, the liquid will adhere more quickly to the hard walls, threatening to destroy it forever. To avoid damage to the latter advantage, do it are rather wet to experts. They will be able to perform better data recovery and thus, you avoid the worst.

Sometimes, in cases of doubt, users will use utility programs that are integrated with operating systems (such as CHKDSK), thinking it is simply a system error. In reality, if the disc is damaged and that such a program is launched, this would damage the peripheral edge of the point of making it completely inoperable. It is rather recommended to switch off the computer and contact an expert in the field. The latter may well be a correct diagnosis on the causes of the anomaly and this process will be able to advise the user on the arrangements according to the identified problem. It will be easier data recovery services and thereby avoid more severe problems.

Moreover, when a user thinks his hard drive is defective because it did not mean to turn over certain methods almost inevitably provide a permanent data loss. Some even physically remove the disk from its original location to shake. This technique can not harm the purpose disc and possibly make it literally unusable. The hard drive failure may be caused by many factors and attempt to resolve by itself can sometimes be more negative than positive. Again, an expert in this field will be able to guide you towards the best solution possible.

I am writing on data recovery process which are followed by most of the RAID Data Recovery companies and it is difficult to get data from a formatted disk with out the help of data recovery company or software.
