The desktop ActiveSync is an application that allows you to synchronize Microsoft Outlook data stored on desktop PC with a mobile device, such as PDAs and Smartphones installed with Windows Mobile or Windows CE. Outlook on desktop PC stores its emails, notes, calendars etc. in a file called PST (Personal Storage Folder).
