How to Solve Windows 7 Registry Corruption Error

In Windows 7 operating system, the extended information related to all the hardware, software, and users is stored in a single database known as 'Registry'. The database can be used to control majority of Windows operating system and resolve most of your problems. However, corruption or damage in Windows registry can occur due to various reasons, resulting into a booting error message. This error message does not allow you to access the data stored in your hard disk. In such situations, an updated backup acts as a boon by allowing you to restore and access your desired data. But, with inaccessibility of data backup or backup falling short to restore the required data, then you can recover the data by using advanced Data Recovery Software.

A common scenario to prove the above case is when you defragment your hard drive and receive the underneath error message when you start your system:

“Registry is Corrupt”

Your hard drive data becomes inaccessible after the above booting error message pops up. On going into the Safe mode, when you run Registry repair program, you find that more than 100 registry issues.

Cause:

As suggested in the error message, the registry is corrupt. Few main reasons for registry corruption are improper system shutdown, file system damage, fatal virus attack, and metadata structure damage.

Resolution:

The above error message can be resolved by changing or deleting the data stored into the registry. But, if in case you do not have any knowledge about the registry settings, then your system can be further damaged. If any such thing happens, then you are left with only option – formatting your hard drive. Formatting the hard drive resolves all the registry corruption errors by rewriting all the entries in the registry file. Data previously stored in your hard drive becomes inaccessible, once it is formatted. To recover the lost data post formatting, you will need to use an advanced Data Recovery application. Such Data Recovery applications can be easily downloaded from the Internet. These tools are easy to understand because of their simplified user-interface.

Is that true?
I only know that registry errors can be fixed with a registry optimizer program, but if the registry itself corrupts, can Windows run then?
