Determining Powerpoint File Corruption

Today, it's hard to imagine a presentation without a slide show. The visual enhancement provided to the attendees not only helps keep their attention, but also helps the speaker follow a well flow of thought. All this would have been impossible without Microsoft Powerpoint that enables you to create presentations.

But, you must have heard that nothing is perfect, same is the case with this application.

Even though Powerpoint is a useful software, it is very much prone to corruption. As a result, you may not be able to access or view the presentations saved in the Powerpoint file. In other words, the data saved in the Powerpoint file becomes inaccessible. In such situations, a valid data backup may provide you great support by restoring the data. But, if the backup is not available, then you need to use a good-quality Powerpoint Recovery application to retrieve your data from the corrupted Powerpoint file.

A Powerpoint file corrupts due to numerous reasons such as virus attack, improper system shutdown, power failure, application malfunction, etc. When a Powerpoint file gets corrupted, you may come across the below mentioned symptoms:

Error messages due to low system resources. Error messages indicating out of memory case. Error messages indicating invalid page faults or illegal instructions.

Generally, you receive the error message when you attempt to open the Powerpoint file, but the file does not open and ultimately your data becomes inaccessible.

Resolution:

To resolve the issues related to Powerpoint, you can follow the below mentioned troubleshooting measures.

If the Powerpoint file is not opening, then try to drag the file to Powerpoint program icon.

In a new page, try to insert the slides of the affected file, except the slide master.

Try to open the file from some other system.

To view the file, use Powerpoint viewer. You can also use ScanDisk command to correct the related drive errors.

These measures help you when you fail to open the file. But, when the case is about Powerpoint file corruption, the only way out would be to use an efficient Powerpoint Repair application to repair the Powerpoint file completely. These applications employ advanced scanning algorithms to retrieve the data quickly from the corrupted Powerpoint file. Designed with rich graphical user interface, these Powerpoint Recovery tools are easy to use and understand.

Powerpoint Recovery is the comprehensive solution to repair all the Powerpoint files such as .ppt, and .pptx files. This Powerpoint Repair application restores the Powerpoint files without any modification in the original content of the file. This read-only software supports MS Powerpoint 2007, 2003, XP, and 2000. It is compatible with Windows Vista, XP, and 2000 operating systems.
