I am a second year student at York University majoring in Computer Science and Minoring in Biology and Statistics. I plan to do a masters in bioinformatics after I complete my undergraduate degree. I have experience programming using VB, Java, HTML, and LaTeX. I have worked with FrontPage, DreamWeaver, and FireWorks for web design. I have a large amount of expertise using MS Access for databasing, and SoundForge for sound editing. My programming projects consist mainly of small pieces of software that can be used in a hybrid (mixed computer and regular) course. Currently I am developing a quiz program for taking short tests over the web. Besides computers, I am interested in cycling, running, canoeing, and kayaking. I read a lot in my spare time (is there really such a thing?) and do some digital photography.

I run this "studio" in my spare time. I do some sound editing, programming, and general computing for family and friends. Right now, the big project on hand is to design and construct a program that will allow students to take quizzes over the Internet.
