In past few years, the world of digital technology has grown in leaps and bounds. With this, the probability of data loss too has increased manifolds. Whether it is a simple external hard drive, internal hard drive of a laptop or desktop computer, file servers, web servers, application servers, Domain controllers, RAID arrays, NAS, SAN, storage box or small scale storage device, like, USB pen drives, ZIP diskettes, CD, DVD, floppies, memory sticks or flash drives, data can be lost from any of these storage media.
Nonetheless, it is essential for a user to have a backup of vital data, as it helps in effectively performing data recovery. But, in the absence of backup too, one can recover data, especially if they are located in New Jersey, thanks to
data recovery services in NJ...

External hard drives have become the most relied upon data storage media for all computer users. Not only do they help in transferring data, they can be used to boot systems, store innumerable games, and a large number of multimedia files that are at times very heavy and cannot be sent over the network or be transferred with USB drives. But they are still prone to data loss and corruption.
But what if, some of your most valuable data is stored on it, say recording of some important event that you do not have a backup to, or an all important final copy of some important clipping. What will you do in such a situation. Firstly don't panic, as panicking prevents you from performing data recovery appropriately.
The next important thing that needs to be done is to not use the hard drive. Also make sure the system doesn't run repair utility on the drive. Though normally, you may try to run a recovery software, but in case, the drive is inaccessible, you have no option but to opt for services...

In the Windows systems, the registry hive is a system file that contains the keys, subkeys, or values of the registry in the system. For each user profile, a separate registry hive is created by the operating system, which is called the 'user profile hive'. Sometimes the user registry hive becomes corrupt due to hard disk corruption, virus infections, abrupt or unplanned system shutdown, etc.
In such cases, you would not be able to start the system and have to look out for ways to fix the registry problem and recover Windows data. If you are unable to address the problem, then you should use a third-party
windows data recovery software to solve the issue.
Consider a situation in which you are unable to start Windows 2000 system as it is displaying the following error message at startup:
“Stop: 0xc0000218 {Registry File Failure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file):
\SystemRoot\System32\Config\SYSTEM or its log or alternate...

Windows systems are using the NTFS (New Technology File System) file system for quite some time now as it is fast, secure, and reliable from its predecessors. That is the reason some of the users use FAT (File Allocation Table) file system apparently convert from FAT to NTFS. However, at times the conversion can go haywire as some critical files go missing during the conversion.
In such cases, you should replace the files to recover hard drive using the setup CD of the operating system. If the method does not work, then you should use a third-party
Windows hard drive recovery to do the needful.
Let us assume a practical situation in which you have used the 'convert drive: /fs:ntfs' command to convert the file system of your Windows XP system from FAT32 to NTFS. However, when you try to start the system you fail to do so. An error message is displayed in this case, which is:...

When you start a Windows system, first of all the number of operating systems that are installed in the system are scanned and listed. After that, you can select and go ahead with the operating system with which you want to log onto the system. This information is stored in the boot.ini file, which is not a read-only file.
Because of not being a read-only file, the boot.ini file can get corrupt or may contain incorrect entries, due to which the system would not start. In such circumstances, you should modify the boot.ini file using the Windows Setup CD. However, if that does not work then you should use a third-party
windows data recovery software to recover Windows data.
Consider a scenario wherein you are unable to start your Windows XP system. The following error message is displayed in a black screen:
“Invalid Boot.ini”
Cause:
The root cause of this problem is that the boot.ini file is either missing, damaged, or contains incorrect entries...

Though the advance computer systems, such as Mac, UNIX etc are robust in their design and storage structure, still situations leading to data loss are almost inevitable. This is the reason that various operating systems have inbuilt commands that facilitate certain amount of data security or preventive measures to save your data prior to a possible damage to the storage media.
The 'dd' command is such an example. The command can be used to make an exact image of the data from the dying hard drive and can be restored later on. However, under unfortunate incidents, the disk image refused to be mounted and it seems as if all your data is lost. These are the extreme conditions, where you have to think over technologies like Mac hard drive recovery or Mac recovery software.
Facts about 'dd' command:...

Last week, while trying to boot my laptop having 160GB SATA hard drive, I started having problem. It asked me to choose between, 'Start Windows Normally' or 'Launch Startup Repair'. I chose to start the system normally, instead of going through the recover windows options. But I got this abominable blue screen with the following message flashing across:
“A Problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode...

Whenever we boot our computer with any Windows operating system, then we patiently wait, for the system to boot. Earlier the users had to wait for long. But with the improving technology, the whole scenario has changed. Consider, for example, the NTFS file system formatted Windows XP operating system does not take that long to boot.
But what if, after anxiously waiting for the booting of your XP computer, you encounter an error message that indicates absence or corruption of a vital system file, and your system refuses to boot after that, then what will you do? Well, don't panic. First of all, check if your backups are updated. And after that search for ways to perform
windows hard drive recovery.
There are times when we boot our NTFS formatted Windows XP system. But instead of being able to work, you find the abominable message as follows:
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys"...

In the Windows systems, the System hive is the place where the backup of the registries containing the keys, subkeys, and their values is stored. For each user profile, a separate system hive is created to keep the record of each and every activity. However, sometimes the System hive gets damaged due to several issues that can even make the system inaccessible. In such situations, you can use various system recovery methods. If these methods do not work, then this situation calls for a professional Windows hard drive recovery software to recover hard drive.
Consider a scenario in which you restart your Windows 2000 system and it fails to start. The following error message is displayed in this case:
“Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced”
Note: The 'ced' letters displayed at the end of the error message is actually not part of the error. It is probably part of the previous screen, which was not overwritten when this error appeared...

If your computer's hard disk suffers a physical damage, you might have to face serious data loss problems. In an event of physical damage, your computer may not boot or you may encounter an error message while starting or using your computer. Hard drive failures are not rare and therefore, each and every computer user should prepare himself to combat such terrible situations. Since hard drive failures are not always predictable and lead to grave data inaccessibility problems, you must take regular backups of your vital data. Backups help a great deal when you come face-to-face with hard drive crash-like situations. However, if you encounter a hard drive failure and have no means to restore the lost data, you must acquire specialized data recovery services.
Hard drive recovery services in New Jersey are provided by many companies. Though, the place boasts of several reputed data recovery companies, you must do your own groundwork to find one which suits your requirements. Data recovery services in NJ can be attained in both the logical and physical damage cases, regardless of the make/model/interface of hard drives...

I have lost three of my hard drives since I started working on computers. And must say, it was a hard time to be in. Imagine all my precious pictures, songs, videos, my gang members numbers, and oh all those mails sent by my first girlfriend, all were lost. Not only that my important project files were all lost. I didn't even know if I should mourn the loss of my songs, videos, pictures, mails, or try to get back all the contacts, or re-create the projects that I had to submit in my school (that was when I had lost my first drive), or college (in case of the second drive). And I must say, that have graduated in losing my data to hard drive failure. Though, I have learnt to backup my data, the hard way! But here I must add that even if you haven't taken a backup of your data, it is today possible to recover hard drive data...

Hard drives since inception have been known to be store houses for data that are highly prone to failure. Despite all the advances made in the field of hard drive, which includes very high storage capacity in very small space, reduced pricing, reduction in problems occurring due to hard drives, it has still not been possible to completely get rid of hard drive failure and data loss occurring due to such failure.
That is why, the need for hard drive data recovery has been felt greatly. To make that possible, a good number of reliable hard drive recovery software has been felt since long.
Hard drives fail due to various reasons, though in most of the cases, the user does get some warning signs before your hard drive fails. Some of these include:
•System is very slow
•You might encounter the BSOD ( Blue Screen of Death ) or some Stop error message.
•Files saved at a location may not be available
•The system may freeze often
•System stops responding at the time of boot up...

Despite being the most popularly used system, Windows has not been able to escape the bugs and problems that come bundled with any software package. And the same applies to Windows Vista as well. I encountered a major problem last week, when I tried to boot my system. When all my attempts failed to revive my system and recover my data, I had to use Windows data recovery tools as I did not have backup of all my data saved on my hard drive.
During startup of my Windows Vista system, immediately after the splash screen, there appeared a black screen which had a moving progress bar. Along with this, an error message also flashed:
“A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

Every computer, whether a desktop, or a server, contains one or more hard disk drives. And every mainframe computer and supercomputer is connected to a large number of these hard disk drives. A large number of manufacturers make hard disk drives, including Western Digital, Seagate, Maxtor, Hitachi, Samsung, Fujitsu, and many more.
These huge number of hard drives have one thing in common, they store a huge amount of data, including digital data in a relatively simple manner. They are the heart and soul of the computer, and enable it to the efficient machine that a computer has become today. That is why they need to be safeguarded, otherwise, a user has to opt for hard drive recovery methods...

The Windows Registry store the system configuration settings of the operating system and the applications installed on it. If the registry files get corrupted, then the system fails to recognize the operating components as well as the applications and the whole system becomes inaccessible. Though options are there to repair and replace the registry files, the process is quite complex and tedious. Hence, for faster and safe recovery of the data it is better to opt for any Windows data recovery utility.
Scenario:
While trying to start or restart your computer with Windows XP operating system, the system ceases to boot further. The system displays an error message and hangs during the booting process. As the system fails to boot, the data in the drive remains inaccessible and any Windows data recovery software is a wiser choice to get back your valuable data. The error message can be any of the following:
“Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM”...

At many instances, when you install or perform an upgrade of Windows XP on your system then it may not pay off well. At times, you may not be able to start the system because of presence of any damaged setup file on the hard disk, which does not get overwritten during the upgrade. You should try certain corrective measures to try and address the situations. If the problem is not resolved, then this situation demands the use of a third-party hard drive recovery software to recover hard drive.
Let us take an instance in which you have upgraded your system to Windows XP. However, when you start the system it does not start. Either of the following error messages may be displayed in this case:
•“C0000221 (Bad Image Checksum)”
•“STOP: C0000221 - Bad Image Checksum in ModuleName”
•“STOP: C0000221 - Bad Image Checksum. User32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header check sum does not match the computed check sum.”
Cause:
There could be the following reasons for this problematic situation:...

Windows is the most popular and widely used operating system now a days. The OS can work with all most all leading applications and software. Hence, it is more prone to errors and sometimes the errors lead to the loss or inaccessibility of valuable data stored in the storage media. In these situations, unavailability of updated backup can be more panic and you need any Windows data recovery utility to recover and restore your data to normalcy.
Scenario:
You are having an ASUS Pro31 Series laptop, where Windows XP professional operating system is installed. While fixing a problem with Microsoft Outlook, you are continuously trying to boot the system in safe mode and suddenly, the system failed to start, flashing an error message on the screen. You may have received any of the following error messages:

If you use Windows XP there would have been numerous times when you were unable to boot the system. I know how that feels because I, too, have found myself in the middle of nowhere in such situations. Such erroneous situation can be caused by various reasons such as virus infections, by selecting inappropriate settings, power outages, corrupted file system, etc.
In such cases, you should find out the exact cause and try to fix the problem. If you are not able to resolve the issue, then you should use a third-party
windows data recovery software to recover Windows files.
Consider a scenario wherein you have a Windows XP system. Of late, when you start the system, it does not boot properly and repeatedly logs on and logs off while displaying the blue screen (Blue Screen of Death).
Cause:
Following reasons could be responsible for this unwanted situation:
