Using Windows data recovery software to recover inaccessible Windows files

I am sure you must have faced few situations wherein you would have to format your Windows sytem. But before doing this, you usually safeguard the existing data to another hard drive or transfer it to another system. However, sometimes when you transfer the data into another system, it is unable to recognize the system disk.

Such problems can occur due to incompatible system startup settings, registries or incompatible hardware drivers. In such cases, you should update the Windows system for windows recovery of data. If you are not able to do so, then you should use a Windows data recovery software to do the needful.

Consider a scenario wherein you have a Windows XP. You want to create a backup of the data on another system. For this, you take out the system disk and attach it to another Windows XP system. However, when you start the system it fails to boot. An error message is displayed, that is:

“TOP: 0x0000007B (0xF741B84C,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE”

Cause:

The root cause of such abnormal situation is that the registry entries and the supported drivers of the mass storage controller hardware in the system disk are not installed in the host system.

The PnP-ID information of the mass storage controllers should be in the registry of the host computer before the startup so that it can initialize the correct drivers.

Resolution:

To resolve this situation, you should update the hardware settings for the host computer with the system disk. You can do so as discussed in the following steps:

You should replace the problematic hardware components with the components of the same manufacturer, make, and model as the motherboard of the system disk.

You should use the same make and model of the SCSI controller in the new computer, if the system disk is a SCSI disk.

You should use the same kind of motherboard in the new computer, if the system disk is an IDE disk.

Restart the system after performing either of the methods. It should be running fine now. However, there may be some instances when the system still displays the same type of error messages. In such cases, you should use a third-party Windows data recovery software to recover Windows files. Such Windows data recovery tools are read-only in nature that employ extremely safe scanning algorithms to recover Windows data.

Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is a windows data recovery software that is able to recover Windows files from inaccessible FAT, NTFS, or exFAT file systems. It restores more than 185 different file types from various storage media such as hard drives, USB drives, iPods, etc. In addition, this Windows data recovery software is capable of recovering deleted emails from Outlook Express and MS Outlook.
