Convert SWF to AVI for embedding flash animations in Powerpoint?

I just tried it wit PPT 2003 and it worked fine. If you are using 2007 you might need to mess around a bit.

1. a. if you have .fla source file: Flash CS3/File/export/export movie/choose avi format in the drop-list to convert swf to avi.

b. if you don't have .fla file: Convert swf to avi.

2. Choose Insert | Movies & Sounds | Movie from File? and choose the required video file.
