Atmel AVR 3-Wire LCD (HD44780) Interface using GCC
A GPL source, schematic, and article on interfacing an HD44780-based LCD display to an Atmel AVR microcontroller. Code is written in C for avr-gcc with avr-libc. Tested under Linux and an ATmega8 microcontroller.
