C4Gen
A collection of macros, called PPMacros, to make programming PIC-controllers much easier.
The PPMacros (Pic Programming Macros) will make programming of microchip PIC controllers with the MPASM assembler and the MPLAB IDE much easier and faster. These 288 macros (and 321 aliases) include for-next loops, repeat-until loops, if-then constructions, 8, 16, 32 bits variables, indirect addressing and mathematical macros (add, substract, multiply, divide and remainder). These macros are open source and open format. Read the FAQ (http://www.c4gen.com/index.html?id=ppm_faq) for more info.

Free PICMicro home controller project
A small home controller based on PIC16F873A. With the
appropriate sensors the controller can monitor physical
variables such as pressure, temperature, light intensity etc,
process the information and then use the result to control up
to three physical devices such as motors, heaters, lights or
other appliances around the home or office. You can program
your appliances to operate automatically in conjunction with
your weekly and daily schedule, manually turn them on/off from
your PC or use the controller as a process ON/OFF controller to
regulate some kind of physical variable to the desired value.

Flat Assembler
The flat assembler is a fast and efficient self-assembling
80x86 assembler for DOS, Windows and Linux operating systems.
Currently it supports all 8086-80486/Pentium instructions with
MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 and 3DNow! extensions, can produce output
in binary, MZ, PE, COFF or ELF format. It includes the powerful
but easy to use macroinstruction support and does multiple
passes to optimize the instruction codes for size. The flat
assembler is self-compilable and the full source code is
included. The only difference between the various flat
assembler packages is the operating system on which they can be
executed. From given source each version will generate exactly
the same output file, so with each of the following releases
you can compile programs for any operating system.

Machine Language Connection
Open Source Web Site devoted to Assembler Design and writing. Also, MIT open source assembler/emulator development environments for the 68000, 65816, 8088. A z80 open source assembler is also available. This is BETA source code and has NOT been thoroughly tested/debugged. the emulators do function, and the assemblers do work. The assemblers allow for user commands to be easily implemented.
