DC Motor Controlling System
Now a days DC motors plays a vital role in most of the industrial areas, it can be seen in most of the electronic devices. Many methods evolved to control the revolution of a motor. DC motors can be controlled either by software or directly by hardware. Software controlling needs computers which are bulky and common man cannot afford for it, so hardware controls are in use. Even in hardware if it is programmable device then it is preferred because it can be modeled according to the requirements of the user.

Robotic Car using microcontoller 8051
Robotic Car is a miniature prototype car powered by batteries whose various movements can be control either manually or automatically, or the combination of both. Here the command is given through keyboard; it would have been better if we used IR remote control or something of that kind rather than using keyboard for commanding. However, by realizing the complexities we have made simple using keyboard.

Intelligent Train Engines
The idea is whenever any engine observes a red signal on its track it will start decreasing its speed gradually and stops automatically at some distance from the signal pole. After then when it gets green signal the driver can manually start the train and go on. In the mean time when train has not stopped yet and a red signal becomes green then it crosses the signal pole with low speed and then driver can slowly increase the speed.

Dc motor control using IR data communication
Current generation moves into wireless technology. Every one wishes to use remote controls. In this way, the speed of the DC motor is controlled by IR rays. IR rays get modulated with combination of data signal and carrier wave of 38 kHz. At the received end, the modulated signal is demodulated which is given to another controller, connected to the Dc motor driving circuit.
