ok i'm using mysql and i was wondering if and how is it possible to link tables like you can with tables in MS access thanks if you can help me

    Not really, no. MySQL does not use foreign keys, and so constraints on referential integrity are not possible at a database level. I suggest writing your code such that the checks are done by you, not by the database.
